XSI Experience CD Question

Hi,
ive just recieved the said cd from avid. its installed, but it wont run , with the message "loopback not found" or something similar. i remember this from 3.x, refering to the network setup of the machine.

i have the computer linked to another (no hub, crossed cable). how would i get this working? install a network loopback adapter? (im running win2k).

Any help would be grately appreciated.

Try install a MS loopback adapter (network component) and TCP IP.

I'm having a problem getting the Online Docs to work. There's some JavaScript error when I load the page and the little XSI Manual graphic just appears in the main frame with no navigation on the left. This has happened on two computers for me. Anyone have any similar problems/workarounds?
