XSI on Linux installing problem

hi!
I am new to Linux and I desided to use Linux version of XSI. ok, I am running "setup" and when I click over some of buttons nothing happens - only button clicks. sorry for begginer question, but I read instructions and I thing everythigh is fine with my system. maybe someone had this 'problem' and solved it?

my configurartion:
Red Hat 7.2 with 2.4.17 (tried and 2.4.7-10) kernel;
Gnome
Enlightement (and sawfish) window manager
XFree86 4.2

Hi,
I think you miss some extract functions when installing Red Hat.You can re-install RH with full installation or install those missing ones(sorry,I forget what they are)

if you install xsi at console mode using ./setup, you'll see the package you missed is "uncompress",I encountered that problem too with redhat 8,but I have no idea which package contains this command.
