XSI->PRMan

Does anybody know ways to export from XSI to RenderMan?
Currently I import ASCII in SI|3D 3.9.2 and use SoftMan
but:
1. It's not a straight way
2. Not all XSI scene components export via ASCII

you got MR3 probably the best renderer right now...
and with a shader creation tool that rocks...
is it a rendering style thing or speed?
I`m very interested to know why..

you might want to e-mail the good people at Animal Logic and tell them you are interested. I really like their products and have used Softman and MaxMan in production. I heard rumours they might working on an XSIman but nothing definitive.

There are at least 2 'unofficial' XSI 2 RIB tools coming.

MR recieving hundred thousend of polygons with fine displacement ( trying to reach the prman quality ) will failed (or gives unacceptable rendering time). So its definitively not the best renderer out there, at least for some features.
