XSI Re-size Window

I seem to remeber seeing a script that would re-size XSI's windows at 1280 x 1024 resolution or less, so that you didn't loose any of the functions at the bottom of the window.

Sound familiar to anyone? A search at highend didn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance.

I dont know about the script you are talking about, but I made a layotfile that will fix the problem for you.

I'm fairly new to XSI and I also encountered the same problem. How does your layotfile work is this a script similar to MEL in Maya.

just go to file->add on
and select the file there....

File/ ADD On/ ... do I select Install, Uninstall, Package or Edit? I managed to copy and paste your 'script' into a Word doc. will that work in XSI.

Select install, then chose the file you downloade from my site. After that look in the "layout" menu for the new layout you just installed. it's called "default"
If you dont see it try restarting XSI.
If you want to remove the layout afterwards go to View->taskbar.

Im not sure I got all the details right, and I cant look them up as I dont have XSI available right now. So if anything is unclear you can mail me.
