XSI render Crashing

Hi... It is me again....
I got this scene with high res textures and my render crashes giving a "out of virtual memory" error on windows 2000. The render works properly if I downres the images. Is there anything that can be done with the hardware??

You have to change the pagefiles of your machine, as you don't enough virtual memory specified.

Right-click on My Computer > Properties.
Go in Advanced tab, click on Performance Options
Then click on Change
Now there you can assign the amount of virtual memory you want. Personally I always leave them at Initial 1000 and Maximum 2500.

You might have to reboot your machine after you make these changes.
