XSI runs in XP

Does anyone know that soft 3D or XSI runs ok in windows XP?

Some said it's OK, but you need the right graphic card drivers (Detonator XP...). I never tried myself.

I've got WinFast GF2 Pro and with detonator xp lines in XSI are not so clear. In my case XSI works better with W2k drivers from LeadTek.

I'm using WinFast GeForce3 and another friend of mine which is using Elsa Gladiac 920(GeForce 3) had the same problem in which text boxes seem to be weird and not clear even if we tried the latest Detonator XP from nvidia or latest drivers given by the developer... Can someone help me out on this??

i'm having the same problems with my Quadro 4 750 XGL with 45.23 XP drivers. my textboxes are square, not matching the rounded boxes. When you highlight text you can't see the text anymore.

ok found the solution, heres what softimage says:

WINDOWS XP Pro

Windows XP Professional (including SP1)

In some cases, a HotFix is needed for a known issue with the Windows XP Professional OS noted here: Q328979 . This will resolve a cosmetic issue within XSI where the Edit Boxes appear grey instead of black (making it difficult to see text). Please click here to consult our KB article on this issue.
