not good for their image to be so predatory, looking like Maya or MS, but I'll be happy to ride the XSi bandwagoan if numbers of seats takes off from their business practises.
good to see Houdini is included on their list, more of an honourable recognition as one of the top 5 than a likely possibility fro trade in, apples and oranges, XSI can't compete where Houdini is primarily used and visa versa.

Im ready to bite as well but would imaging that going from LW to XSI essential they would probrably cut a grand out of the original price which would still be too much for me. I emailed them anyhow to see what the results would be.
