Actually I'm letting that one stay at least for now. I did however ban the poster again because they keep re-registering after being banned twice before for posting abusive messages.

So far I have not been able to confirm or deny any of what this person is saying. My leanings is that they are half right but are really an inbittered x-employee out for blood. Offline they told me some malarky but I wanted to see if anyone else was going to come forward to support this story with better credentials.

So has any one heard any horror stories about Stargate from any other sources? I mean it may be a place to get your feet wet but if what this person is saying is true..

I havn;t heard anything bad like that about the place from anyone I've ever talked to.
I've heard far worse about Midway and a few other companies from many people. So word of mouth does work, things get around,
I think a few folks might have felt they got a raw deal or have personal problems with the owners. . If it was that bad you'd think we'd have heard about it outside of these posts.
The issues the posters raises honestly sound kinda normal for this industry ..haha

you never know im trying to build a house and before hand i checked the architects references and bbb and all that found it to be clean and he did all kinds of work in my area, etc. After i started with him and started meeting with builders and others I find out hes screwed everyone and low and behold he screws me. My first jump into the "building" world so i didnt know what to expect. Later im learning exactly how architects really work and their limits... things I wish I knew before.

so maybe these posts enlighten some users that just have no idea how things work. if people are delusioned... and we know too many that are thinking they will get rich and have job security and be famous, etc.. then maybe these posts really do help some.

I certainly does not appear to be hurting Stargate .. if anything my biggest problem is with this poster... who IMO is a liar about a few things so I'm not inclined to beleive their post... that's why I removed the others because they were so outlandish and vulgar..

Also from what I can tell this person thinks they can fool us by logging in responding to their own posts under different user names as if that is corroboration of the story.. of course they being not so bright register with the same email address and paste the same messages.. oh well .. I also have to wonder why they have not spammed other forums where Stargate posts job listings?

Anyway I would like to see if anyone else comes out of the woodwork. I have to admit that I have watched CSI and a few times wondered who the heck is making some of the crappy effects and well it was Stargate

On that note about contractors.. I know what you mean.. it pays to get reliable references.
