Hello,
When I try to render environment fog, all objects appear at the same depth, around 75 units back from the camera. I guessed this was a problem with the z depth and checked the camera and rendering settings and everything appears ok. However, when I open an image with fcheck and press 'z' to see the z depth data, it says 'no z buffer.'
-Camera is set to output depth
-render globals are set to output z depth
-rendering in .iff format
To make things more confusing, depth of field is working. Does this not use z-depth data?
Any ideas?
