hello,
have a simple questions. Im using an alpha brush and the projection master in zbrush 2.0. I keep getting large displacements where it seems to change the mesh shape quite a bit want there to be relatively little. it seems to bloat the surface out or in quite a bit and i just want to keep the surface flat but use the alpha brush to cut in holes and details into the mesh, but without changing the overall shape of the mesh. the thing is I like how much displacement there is on the brush itself the way it moves the details is great, but is there a way to get the same amount of displacement without moving the whole mesh in or out?
here are pictures showing what the problem is.
this is the normal mesh cube im dislplaceing

these show the bloating where its changing the shape of the mesh too much

so how to i avoid this type of bloating displacement behavior
